FYRESIDE ARTS | Since 2022

In 2022, FYRESIDE ARTS emerged as a creative hub for artists and makers on the beautiful Coffs Coast within Gumbaynggirr Homeland.

We are a contemporary sculpture and installation art space that hosts two galleries. One is for local artists to exhibit their work, and the other is for our permanent collection that features artwork from local and interstate artists. We support local artists by providing them with an exhibition space and a monthly meetup. To stay updated on our activities, sign up for our newsletter on our homepage or follow our Instagram @fyreside_arts and Facebook accounts.

Fyreside Arts encourages ambitious projects and fosters autonomous working within a creative environment. We have a co-making space with workbenches, equipment, storage shelves, and lockers.

For ages 12+, we offer introductory experiences in metalwork, moulding/casting, and woodwork. These introductions are suitable for beginners with no prior experience.  We supply all materials, safety gear, and guidance with your project. Check our website for prices and bookings.

Please note that our workshops are for ages 12 and above only, and participants must wear sturdy leather shoes and long pants. If you're travelling and don't have these items, check the local op shops. We do have some smaller-sized boots you can borrow.

For those with established skills and professional backgrounds looking to upskill, we can tailor advanced workshops to their needs.

Our space is FREE to enter, and we welcome dogs as long as they are social. All spaces are accessible to those in wheelchairs, including the bathroom, except our upstairs gallery.

Talk to us about your next project or artwork!
